For sale is my Hook Captain 34 head, together with the matching original Hook 2x12 cabinet, the original Hook footswitch, and a custom-fit transport flightcase for the head.

The amplifier is in very good, well-maintained condition and is fully functional. It has been carefully used at home and in the studio.

The Hook Captain 34 is a high-end boutique amplifier offering sparkling clean tones, dynamic British crunch, and rich, singing lead sounds. It is highly responsive to playing dynamics and the guitar’s volume control and works beautifully with effects pedals.

The original Hook 2x12 cabinet is loaded with two special Celestion G12H 30-watt Greenback speakers with 55 Hz bass resonance, rated at 15 ohms each and made in England. They deliver a powerful, warm, and open sound with strong low-end response and classic British character.

The set is only being sold because I am downsizing my equipment and reorganizing my setup.

Inspection and a full functional test are welcome by appointment. Due to the size and weight, local pickup is preferred. Shipping within Europe may be possible by prior arrangement and at the buyer’s expense.
