About this listing
Beautiful condition. Barely palyed. This sucker cuts! The Paiste Signature 20” Heavy Bell Ride (produced primarily from 1989 to 2004) is a legendary, heavy-mass powerhouse engineered specifically for maximum stick articulation and high-volume projection. While discontinued in its original form, it remains highly coveted on the vintage market by rock, metal, and arena drummers who require an unbreakable, crystal-clear rhythmic foundation that never washes out.(Note: If you are looking for the compact effect cymbal variation instead, Paiste also crafts the ultra-thick Formula 602 13” Heavy Bell).Product Highlights from Paiste:• Massive Articulate Ping: The substantial physical mass focuses the stick impact into a bright, metallic, and heavy "ping." Note separation remains flawlessly crisp and distinct even during incredibly fast, dense rhythmic passages.• Piercing, Separated Bell: The integrated bell structure is thick and highly pronounced. Striking it produces a glassy, high-pitched, anvil-like clarity that punches clean through walls of heavily overdriven guitars or live stage monitor mixes.• Total Wash Control: Unlike thinner rides that bloom into a chaotic undertone when driven hard, the Heavy Bell Ride keeps its background wash tightly constrained, deep, and dark.• Signature Bronze Shimmer: Forged from Paiste's proprietary alloy, it maintains a unique upper-register glassiness and brilliant shimmer that ensures the heavy profile still sounds highly musical rather than clunky. No keyholes or cracks3172 Grams
