1985 Fender Contemporary Made in Japan Jazz Bass Special (Precision P J Bass)Rosewood Fretboard Very minor cosmetic wear here and there but looks and plays excellent! !Knobs could be changed, I do not know, the electronics are original with TBX Circuit! The frets are excellent with minor play showing and a full life ahead of them. Comes with "Chromes" Flatwound Strings (my favorite bass string)This bass is extremely awesome! (have I mentioned this yet, for real I have vintage holy grail fender basses, and this bass is as good if not better) I really like the PJ pickups and the controls. ( The tone is very funky and it's made me really appreciate the PJ set up)Passive original pickups! This bass is not active and that's a good thing! The neck is a Precision Bass "B" Width the middle size neck that is wider then a jazz bass but not as wide as the early 60s precision bass. The "B" precision bass neck shape is the perfect fender full scale bass neck in my experience.Comes in Fender USA case shown in photos. I could go on and on about how cool looking and playing this bass is. I'm a purist of vintage fender and this bass has blown my mind and I want to collect the telecaster that looks just like it now!
