This model features the classic double cut SG body shape crafted from Mahogany. Mahogany has long been the wood of choice for Gibson models thanks to its resonance and incredible sustain. The Mahogany neck features a SlimTaper neck shape, which feels comfortable and gives this guitar a vintage feel. The Rosewood fingerboard features a 43mm nut width, 24.75" scale length, 22 frets, and pearloid dot inlays.

The Epiphone SG Standard is equipped with a pair of Epiphoneâs acclaimed ProBucker humbucking pickups, delivering all the vintage-approved SG tones you could ask for. A ProBucker 2 humbucker sits in the neck position, while a slightly hotter ProBucker 3 is installed in the bridge. Each pickup has its own volume and tone controls, and a three-way toggle switch lets you use either pickup alone or blend them in any combination to suit your playing style and mood.
