The DigiTech FreqOut Natural Feedback Creator is an effect pedal designed to generate realistic, controllable harmonic amp feedback at any volume level.

Normally, achieving natural feedback requires pushing a guitar amplifier to high volumes to create an acoustic loop between the speaker and the guitar strings. The FreqOut solves this by digitally tracking your input signal, isolating the notes, and generating controlled harmonic feedback tones—even at bedroom volumes, through headphones, or with a completely clean guitar tone.

Key Features & Functions

• 7 Harmonic Modes: The central Type knob lets you choose which harmonic frequency swells relative to the note played:
• • 1st (Sub Harmonic): Adds a deep lower harmonic.
  • 2nd, 3rd, 5th: Generates specific musical intervals above the root note.
  • Nat Low (Natural Low) & Nat Hi (Natural High): Simulates standard amplifier feedback dynamics where low or high harmonics build up naturally based on guitar frequency response.
  • User: Tracks the fundamental pitch.
• Onset Control: Adjusts the delay time before the feedback swells in, allowing for quick sustain or a gradual, subtle swell.
• Gain Control: Sets the mix level of the generated feedback signal.
• Dry On/Off Switch: Turning the dry guitar signal OFF isolates only the feedback signal, allowing the pedal to double as an EBow-style drone generator or volume-swell effect.
