Up for sale is my 2nd Electro-Voice 666 Supercardioid Dynamic Microphone.a slightly later model. My price reflects that 1-the capsule was rebuilt by the legendary Ron Hummel a few years ago. He did a great job and the mic even sounds slightly better. Mic comes with special Canon UA-3-11 to XLR cable. 2-This cable has a buzz in certain environments (like my groundless house) and should be checked and maybe ground-lifted. The mic is fine as you can also insert a regular or modified XLR cord to use this.

Often seen in front of Elvis, JFK and Aretha Franklin, this mic was indispensable in the recording studios at the time like Chess, Stax and Motown. Please see my other listings for other old American gear difficult to find nowadays, I am retiring from 40 years being a producer and musician, and it was a lot of fun. My gear goes to you.
