These are the ORIGINAL black-faced modules manufactured at SSL's Begbroke (Oxfordshire, UK) facility, NOT the later grey-brushed MK2 version produced in China after the Audiotonix acquisition. Originally introduced in 2012/2013, the black series has been quietly discontinued and replaced by the grey MK2 around 2023.
