Boss BD-2 Blues Driver, the classic analogue overdrive that has been in production since 1995. This one is a Made in Taiwan unit, serial F8A1982, which dates it to 2011.

The BD-2 is the pedal you reach for when you want your amp's own character, only pushed. Unlike a Tube Screamer, it barely reshapes your EQ curve, so nothing gets pushed into the mids. Level, Tone and Gain cover an enormous range: roll the Gain back for a warm, almost clean boost, and wind it up for a thick saturation that gets close to fuzz territory. It's extremely touch-sensitive and cleans up beautifully with your guitar's volume knob, which is why it has stayed on so many boards for thirty years.

Condition: Fully working, all three pots are smooth with no crackle, the footswitch engages cleanly and the LED lights as it should. Cosmetically very clean, with light wear around the knobs and minor scuffs on the enclosure sides. Battery compartment thumbscrew present and the door closes properly. No dents, no rust, no modifications.

Includes the original Boss BD-2 box with its white inner tray. The box has scuffs and surface scratches from storage but is structurally sound. No power supply or battery included.
