There is a 12AX7 inside the pedal and runs at high voltage (around 240 VDC).
The Watchman is like a Page with a smidge more gain and an input Z control ("Lows").
Best variant of the Page V2.
Can be used as an OD/clean boost like the Mason but without the thicker and ever present mids.
Instead, it’s the warm mild mid bump of the Page to better compliment the sound of your amp if you have a use for that.
It’s a bonus that the Watchman also has Z Knob tricks of a Mason/Peasant/Artisan when placed earlier in the pedal chain.
A very versatile unit however you wish to use it.
The Watchman can do Page V2 if you set it that way, but it has way more control on the dials.
The 3 way switch (more/less top end is what I’m hearing) is easily tunable.
