MXR CSP039 Duke of Tone Overdrive

Based on Analog Man's Prince of Tone, the single-channel version of the King of Tone Overdrive, this pedal offers true vintage sounds. Analog Mike personally assembled all the various components of the King of Tone Overdrive, creating a warm, clear and open sounding pedal that brings out all the sonic nuances in the chain, from guitar strings to amp tubes.
The Duke of Tone Overdrive inherits the same simple but effective controls. The Volume, Drive, and Tone knobs allow you to make all the adjustments typical of an overdrive, while the Boost/OD/Distortion switch allows you to set the character of the pedal's output. Boost mode offers a vigorous but clean boost, OD mode adds more saturation and compression, and Distortion mode offers a more driven sound.
In all modes, the Duke of Tone will enhance the sound of your setup. The Duke of Tone allows you to be creative: it pairs very well with other overdrives or distorsors, and using it at 18V will provide increased headroom and clarity, especially in Boost mode.
