About this listing
Up for sale is my 2001 National Style 0. The guitar has the National Hot Plate installed with Lollar pickup (original plate included as well). The guitar plays and sounds beautifully, set up with a set D'addario electric medium strings with a John Pearse 15 in the high e position. Can easily put a set of standard resonator strings with no issues or adjustments needed. I go back and forth between electric and traditional strings often depending on the musical situation. Excellent era for National, really nice dark slab of ebony for the board and flamey piece of maple for the neck-finished in Honeyburst. Case is in okay shape, all latches work, but it shows wear and fraying on some edges. This is an amazing example of a Style 0, truly an heirloom level instrument. If you're looking to have a one and only workhorse resonator that nails that delta tone, this is it.Let me know of you have any questions. No international shipping, shipping to the lower 48 only. Thanks!
