Here for sale we have a Epiphone Les Paul Standard 50’s in Vintage Sunburst finish. Built in China in 2022, this guitar features a set-neck construction comprising a Mahogany body with Maple top, Mahogany neck and 22 fret Laurel fingerboard. This instrument is equipped with Nickel hardware including a Epiphone LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge and Epiphone LockTone StopBar tailpiece along with Grover tuning machines. The pickups are a pair of Epiphone humbuckers, with a ProBucker 1 in the neck and a ProBucker 2 in the bridge. These are wired to a 3-way toggle switch and independent volume & tone controls. 

The Mahogany neck sits comfortably in the hand, with the 50s Rounded Medium ‘C’ profile feeling suitably chunky for a vintage-style neck, whilst providing a smooth and articulate playing experience across the register. The Laurel fingerboard is pleasant under the fingers and with its traditional 12” radius provides a smooth and durable playing surface for the user to explore. The Medium Jumbo frets making bending and vibrato techniques a breeze. The familiar lines of the body feel great in the arms, ensuring comfort in both standing and seated positions. 

The Epiphone ProBucker 1 humbucker in the neck position sounds thick and full, with a rich low end and plenty of power for your solos and melodic lines. The middle position provides a punchy, tight midrange which is well suited to chordal styles of playing whilst being able to cut through a mix. The Epiphone ProBucker 2 humbucker in the bridge position produces a clear and articulate top end, with a punchy output which provides great feel and clarity; perfect for those heavy rock rhythm parts and riffs. The familiar control layout is as effective as ever, meaning you can dial in your perfect tone right on the guitar.

Aesthetic Condition:

Headstock: Overall excellent condition. Very light scratching is present to the front face of the headstock, these can only be seen under direct light.

Neck: Overall very good condition. Mild indentations are present to the rear of the neck, these can be seen and felt to the bass side early register. Light scratching is present to the rear of the neck across the register, these can not be felt in the playing position.

Body: Overall excellent condition. All aspects of the body display light scratching which can only be seen under direct light as is common with gloss finishes. All other aspects of the body display light signs of past use.

Condition of Frets:

The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.

Current Set Up:

Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (4mm hex) not included.

Hardware: Overall very good condition. Light tarnishing is present to all aspects of the metal hardware, this is most apparent to the pickup covers and bridge consistent with past use in high contact areas.

Structural: No concerns or issues to note.

Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.5mm - Bass 2mm
