1957 Gibson LG-1

Featuring ladder bracing and a small body, the LG-1 offers a sound with controlled sustain and the powerful, solid core characteristic of Gibson guitars.

The instrument shows significant cosmetic wear—including scratches, dings, cracks, finish chips, a chip on the headstock, discoloration/fading, fretboard wear (frets 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, and 7), a bulge in the top near the bridge, and a depression near the soundhole. However, this wear complements its history and that gritty, authentic Gibson tone, giving it a distinguished, seasoned appearance.

After arriving at our shop, it underwent professional servicing—including a refret, fretboard planing, a new bone nut, and repair of loose top bracing—resulting in excellent playability.
