This hot new analog compressor from EHX first made the rounds about a month ago when EHX first put out their announcement. But now that Summer NAMM is here, we’ve had a chance to get a closer look at it.
The Tone Corset is a Operational Transconductance Amplifier (OTA) compressor that gives players the ability to dial in their desired compression from extreme to quite subtle levels. It features four knobs: Sustain to control how much compression is applied, Attack to control the response time, Blend to mix the dry and compressed signals, and Volume to control the whole effect.
It’s a true–bypass pedal equipped with a 9 volt battery and retails for $119.30.
