Sonifex Redbox RB-MA1 Mic Preamp RB-MA1

The Sonifex Redbox RB-MA1 is a genuine hidden gem in the professional broadcast and studio world.

While "legendary" may be a strong term, it certainly applies to its exceptional reliability, durability, and ultra-low noise performance.

The preamp is fully functional and in excellent technical condition, with only age-related signs of use.

Huge gain reserves: With an adjustable gain range from 36 dB up to an impressive 75 dB, it has more than enough power to drive even extremely quiet, gain-hungry microphones such as the Shure SM7B, RØDE PodMic, or classic ribbon microphones effortlessly and without introducing unwanted self-noise.

It also provides 48V phantom power for condenser microphones.

High-quality internal components: At its core is the renowned SSM2019 preamplifier chip, known for its outstanding dynamic range, extremely low distortion (THD), and exceptionally transparent sound reproduction.
