For sale: a pair of Soviet-era Octava MK-18 studio condenser microphones, made in the USSR in 1982.
The MK-18 is a professional large-diaphragm, dual-diaphragm condenser microphone with a transformer-coupled output and multiple polar patterns: Omni, Cardioid, Figure-8, as well as intermediate patterns.
The pair has undergone a complete professional service and was used in the studio as a stereo pair, very often in an M/S configuration.
Condition:
• Microphone #910 — fully functional, with all polar patterns working.
• Microphone #604 — only the Cardioid pattern is working.
Both microphones have been fully serviced and are ready to use. Sold only as a pair.
Two cables are included.
A very interesting set for studio use, especially for stereo and M/S recording, as well as for collectors of Soviet professional studio equipment.
