I'm selling my 1978 Martin M-36. I've owned it since 2015, and it's just been serviced and is playing well. The shop adjusted the action, replaced a few frets, and leveled and dressed the frets.It has a Sitka spruce top, rosewood back and sides, and the M-36's three-piece back. There's also a working pickup installed, so you can plug it in. It runs on a 9V battery in a pouch inside the guitar, with the output jack at the endpin. I don't know the pickup's brand or when it was installed.It's been played over the years and has some wear to show for it. There’s some finish checking, along with dings and nicks on the body, neck and headstock, and a small ding through the finish near the soundhole. I've included close-up photos so you can get a good look at everything.It comes with a used black padded shaped case from the guitar shop. The case has some wear too, and isn't the original Martin case.The serial number is 401922. I'm asking $2,395 plus shipping, and I'm open to reasonable offers. Let me know if you have any questions!
