Framus tenor banjo, Standard 200 series, Ser no. 407781-69K, made in West Germany in october 1969. This banjo is in very good condition for its age and was completely restored. As a special feature, the banjo has a maple neck with a black colored angled head-stock and a rosewood fretboard (normally the Standard 200 series features mahogany necks). The maple neck is straight and narrow, has 19 frets (plus zero fret), frets show very low fretwear. New REMO head (size 11 1/8 inches, bottom coated), standard metal band tone ring, ornamented aluminum flanges and arm rest, deep brown resonator. New GROVER 3-legged bridge, Ni plated tension ring with 18 top tension nuts and aluminum hooks. Set up in Irish tuning (G-D-A-E) with new strings (size 36-24-18-12, ball end), also suitable for Irish tuning. Loud and clear tone. Banjo does not come in a case.
