Introduced in 1969 in the Fender catalog, the Thinline with its semi-hollow body kept single-coil pickups until 1972, when it adopted Wide Range humbuckers like its Deluxe and Custom sisters. This example comes from a limited edition run in Aztec Gold and features body binding like the Custom model. Its maple neck has a matching maple fretboard. The original pickups have been replaced with a set of ToneRider Hot Classics, and the electronics have been upgraded with quality components.
