With the Gibson Hummingbird Special Satin Natural, the traditional US manufacturer continues its Hummingbird series, which has been popular since the 1960s. The Hummingbird, also played by icons such as Keith Richards, Jimmy Page and Gram Parsons, was the first square shoulder dreadnought at the time and has enjoyed immense popularity ever since, especially among singer-songwriters. The guitar develops its powerful sound thanks to a top made of solid Sitka spruce and back and sides made of solid mahogany.
