14" x 6,5" Majestic (20mm/8-ply) Oak Snare (VIDEO)

Pretty rare and in near mint condition 14" x 6,5" Majestic Oak Snare with an 8-ply 20mm thick shell and a rosewood look veneer. Majestic is a percussion brand from the Netherlands, that are mainly known for their orchestral and percussion group instruments. This snare is no exception and has all the great qualities to be an amazing orchestral snare, but is just fantastic as a drumset snare as well (which is how I'd use it)!

The snare has quite a lot of features that are "borrowed" from other brands. The die cast hoops are pretty much the same as you'd see on 1970s Premier kits (which are just great), the lugs look a bit like Trixon or Sonor Teardrop and it has also a Tama-like one-touch tone control muffler. The result is an amazing snare that sings but is still controlled due to it's thickness, has a direct yet warm sound and the hoops give the snare the best dynamic rim clicks and rimshots you can get. All in al just a fantastic snare in excellent, near mint condition (SEE VIDEO!).
