The Laney Ironheart Foundry IRF60-110 Combo features a fully analogue signal path and delivers an output power of up to 60 watts. However, if you wish to use the Laney for recording or at home, you can limit the amplifier’s power to 1 watt using the Power Mode Switch on the rear panel. To reproduce the sound, the amp features a speaker from the British manufacturer HH Audio, designed specifically for this series; with its 10-inch cone, it offers the perfect balance between volume and sound projection.

The Laney Ironheart Foundry IRF60-110 Combo derives its tonal versatility from its two channels, which deliver either clearly defined clean tones or distorted lead sounds. In the lead channel, the IRF60-110 also offers three different voicings, which elicit distinct characters from the channel and emphasise either the highs in Lead Bright mode or the low-mid frequencies in Lead Dark mode. In addition, there is a particularly handy boost function on board. This can be activated at any time via a footswitch to give the amplifier’s preamp an extra boost when required.

For silent practice sessions and for using backing tracks, the Laney Ironheart Foundry IRF60-110 Combo also features an aux input and a 3.5 mm jack headphone socket.
