Fusti in mogano a 7 strati, finitura laccata Gloss Crimson Burst. Bordi a 30°, supporto tom con sospensione GTS, cerchi a tripla flangia da 1,6 mm. La cassa, il rullante e il timpano hanno otto tiranti per pelle, il tom da 12” ne ha cinque, come da tradizione su tutti i tamburi Gretsch di questa misura.
Un set ottimamente realizzato, dal rapporto qualità prezzo imbattibile, un successo commerciale assoluto. Una batteria con misure da Jazz dal timbro caldo di ispirazione "vintage", ma sufficientemente versatile da poter affrontare, con un opportuna scelta di pelli ed intonazione, diversi generi musicali.
