Weiss ADC1 mk2 2000’s - White

For sale a Weiss ADC1 mk2 (bottom unit in picture) in great condition. Only the front panel has yellowed a bit (although not as much as the photo suggests) and shows some signs of wear, but other than that technically it’s working perfectly.

This converter still holds its own when compared to converters of this day and age. I did many shootouts over the years, and although modern tech shows better numbers, the depth of field and both low and high end extension of the Weiss is still unparallelled.

Even an DA-AD loop between the DAC1 (which is also listed) and the ADC1 mk2 already opens up the material and positions it as a holographic image.

Conversion goes up to 24bit/96KHz, which is still plenty. Soft clipping is very sweet, dithering I don‘t use until back into the DAW, but is also of the highest caliber. Mic preamps among the cleanest out there.

What more can I say? You won’t find this for sale often, that’s for sure.
