The Catalyst CX 100 is a 100-watt, dual-channel combo amplifier featuring a 12-inch speaker and 12 Helix-derived amp voices. It delivers the familiar feel of a traditional guitar amp while offering the versatility and advanced features of modern amp modeling technology.

The Catalyst family includes three dual-channel amplifiers that combine classic amp operation with expanded flexibility. Each model features 12 amp voices ranging from pristine clean tones to modern high-gain sounds, all derived from the award-winning Helix® amplifier and effects platform. Each amp voice is paired with a dedicated boost circuit optimized for that specific tone. The Catalyst CX also includes 24 HX-quality effects across four categories.

Additional features include rugged construction, a Tap Tempo/Tuner button, XLR line output, effects loop, power amp input for use as an active speaker, MIDI functionality, a 4-channel USB audio interface, and selectable power modes. The free Catalyst Edit app for desktop and mobile devices provides deep editing capabilities. Optional accessories include the LFS2 footswitch and a protective amplifier cover.

Power Amp Input

USB Connectivity
Connect to the Catalyst Edit app (Mac®, PC, iOS®, Android™) and use the integrated USB audio interface, providing 4 inputs and 4 outputs at 24-bit / 44.1 kHz or 48 kHz.

MIDI
The Catalyst CX 100 and CX 200 support MIDI Program Change and Continuous Controller messages via a 5-pin DIN MIDI connection. The Catalyst CX 60 supports MIDI over USB.
