UPDATE - The supply tension arm lost its tension suddenly while I was calibrating this machine. It’s hardly fatal but probably needs à tech to get the supply real back in action as well as a quick checkup. The new price reflects this.

I overestimated how much room I would have in my new recording area. I am therefore hoping I can find a good home for this beauty.

This the 15 and 30 IPS version of the machine. It has dbx which be turned in or off. It comes with an MRL full frequency tape for 30 IPS operation. This means that if you wish to tweak up the <100 Hz response at 30, you can do that.
Also included is - the user/maintenance manual, 4 db25 TRS cables, two XLR to TRS snakes (one can use either with this unit) and a full remote/autolocator with stand.

It is about 275 lbs/125 kg, so it would be best for you to do all the arrangements for shipping. I have $500 as an arbitrary number - you would have to see what it cost to have it done safely.

If you’re in the GTA to Montreal corridor, you could pick it up as well.

A real selling point is the location of the calibration pots. The pots for that are under the VUs, so it’s pretty convenient.

One will likely want to get a reel of virgin tape (approx $300/reel ) although you can bake older tapes - I have a few - for recording purposes and then archive quickly to digital and finally the shipping expense if you go that route.
