The Fostex 6301DT is a compact 4" active monitor in the long-running 6301 series used in broadcast and production rooms since the early 1980s. This N-series revision pairs a sealed aluminum die-cast enclosure with a 20W Class-D amplifier, a dedicated 4" full-range driver, and auto standby that drops below 0.5W after about 25 minutes of quiet input. The DT adds Dante network audio: it appears as a two-channel Dante device and can play channel 1, channel 2, or a 1+2 mix from a rear-panel switch, with sample rates up to 96 kHz via Audinate Ultimo.

Design

Controls sit flush on the face so the speaker is harder to knock offline or change level by accident. Width and height match earlier 6301B-H units for drop-in replacement. Optional EB-6301 wall bracket (sold separately) adds angled mounting.
