Super-rare and collectible Gibson Custom Shop '69 reissue Jimi Hendrix signature Flying V. This was an extremely limited run of only 125 made.

Both the finish and the gold hardware are factory aged, and it is covered in lacquer checking on close inspection. It's in near mint-condition, with just 1 small blemish on the back if closely inspecting (we have had to bounce light onto it in the photo to exaggerate it and make it more visible).

The Gibson Flying V has always been one pretty radical guitar, initially launched back in '58 as part of Gibson's attempt to embrace futuristic design, it's been a players favourite ever since. Famously used by Jimi during the Band of Gypsys era, it's only fitting that Gibson's most radical guitar gets recreated for possibly the greatest player ever.

Features include a lightweight Mahogany body with a Mahogany neck, Ebony fingerboard and classic split diamond inlays. It has a 60s slim taper profile, 12" radius, ABR-1 bridge, Maestro short vibrola and Kluson tuners.

It is loaded with a duo of Gibson Custom Buckers. These humbuckers deliver that tone that only a Gibson can produce and are some of the most historically accurate PAF clones around, truly capturing the magic of that golden era. Pair these with the vintage Maestro Short Vibrola and you get that iconic Jimi sound!

A real powerhouse, this is a worthy tribute to the great man. It comes complete with its unique Jimi Hendrix hardcase and all its paperwork and candy including a photo of Jimi himself.
