Selling my USA made Fender American Standard Stratocaster, made in 2016. S/N: US16021375. It comes in the particularly rare “Bordeaux Metallic” finish which is no longer available. Rosewood fretboard. You can see the metallic sparkle in the red finish, especially in the sunlight. This guitar comes equipped with heavy upgrades to the stock model. The pickups were custom ordered. Suhr V63+ (N/M/B) w/ reverse wound reverse polarity in the middle pickup. These pickups retail at $200 new each ($600 total before taxes). If you haven’t heard of Suhr, check them out online… they’re basically a modern boutique fender (John Suhr worked in the fender custom shop before starting Suhr guitars). These were professionally installed by Glebe Guitar Repair. The bridge is a Vega-Trem VT1 ($569 before taxes - custom order from Europe)… preferred bridge of many pros, including Greg Howe (fusion guitar extraordinaire… Michael Jackson live guitarist). The guitar was also professionally PLEK’d by Ian Weston (one of the best techs Canada has ever had) of Weston Instruments before he moved to Vegas ($400 modification). If you haven’t heard of PLEK before, look it up. This is a professional level modification to provide the most accurate playability to a guitar. This guitar also received a fret dress, and pickup shielding from Ian Weston. This guitar comes with the original custom fit Fender proprietary hard case. It is currently equipped and setup with D’Addario 10-46 strings in E Standard. There are a few scuffs on the BACK of the guitar (attached in photos). I am not the original owner, but have owned it for most of its life. This is a professional level Fender Stratocaster, with incredibly high end upgrades. One to last a lifetime no doubt. All in all, this guitar + all its upgrades would retail for about $3500 brand new taxes included.
