The Korg Nautilus 61 is a professional music workstation built around nine sound engines inherited from Korg's flagship Kronos platform. With 2,200+ programs, a 7-inch TouchView color display, an integrated 16-track MIDI and 16-track audio sequencer, and a 60GB SSD for sample storage, it delivers studio-grade production tools in a performance-ready instrument. The 61-key Natural Touch Semi-Weighted keyboard provides responsive velocity sensitivity for a wide range of playing styles.

Nine Sound Engines

SGX-2 Premium Piano delivers German and Japanese grand piano samples at full 88-key stereo depth. EP-1 MDS Electric Piano recreates classic tine and reed instruments. HD-1 High Definition PCM provides the bread-and-butter sounds: orchestral, pads, guitars, basses, and drums. AL-1 Analog Modeling produces virtual analog synths with continuous waveform morphing. CX-3 Tonewheel Organ models classic drawbar organs with rotary speaker simulation. STR-1 Plucked String uses physical modeling for guitars, harps, and ethnic strings. MOD-7 VPM/FM produces FM synthesis textures. MS-20EX and PolysixEX add legacy Korg analog character.

Sequencer and Recording

The onboard 16-track MIDI sequencer records up to 400,000 notes with full editing capability on the TouchView display. A separate 16-track audio recorder captures WAV files directly to the internal 60GB SSD. KARMA technology generates musical phrases, arpeggios, and backing patterns that respond to your playing in real time. Set Lists organize sounds and sequences for fast recall during live performance.
