Aguilar sets the standard for aftermarket onboard preamps. The Aguilar OBP-3 runs at 9V or 18V and is the most flexible onboard preamp/EQ Aguilar makes. You get three bands with 18dB boost/cut at 40Hz, 16dB of boost/cut at either 400Hz or 800Hz, and 16dB of boost/cut at 6.5kHz, giving you the fat tone-shaping you need.
