V-Drums Quiet Design Kick Pad and Beater
V-Drums Quiet Design is a revolutionary advancement in home drumming, delivering the lowest playing noise in the history of V-Drums. Born of decades of Roland testing and development, the V-Drums Quiet Design pads, stand, and pedal bases work together to keep in-home playing sounds and vibration transfer in check without sacrificing feel and response. Noise is reduced by an astonishing 75 percent compared with a conventional V-Drums kit, which was already among the quietest in the industry.
The KDQ-8 kick pad features a noise-reducing playing surface with a dense triple-layer cushion covered in a double-ply mesh material. This is housed in a specially engineered floating frame to reduce vibration and noise transfer to the floor. Four custom rubber feet provide stability and additional vibration isolation, while the included KDB-Q quiet beater minimizes contact noise when striking the head.
