Set it to Silicon mode for a faithful reproduction of the original 250’s bite and grind, courtesy of an authentic LM741 op-amp. Select Ge/ASYM mode to engage a Germanium diode for asymmetrical even-order clipping that provides a distinct tonal character with incredible touch response. Or switch to Lift mode to remove diode clipping completely from the signal path, for use as a clean boost and preamp.
