The Beyerdynamic M 130 is a dual dynamic ribbon microphone designed for “figure-eight†style recording of vocals or ambiance. The M 130 is popular for recording and broadcasting stereo signals using the M-S (Mid-Side) technique. In addition, the figure eight polar pattern makes it ideal for recording background singers. Its double dynamic ribbon design results in exceptional transient response, creating detailed sound and transparency.

The unique dual ribbon element allows accurate simultaneous pick-up on either side of the capsule. This allows simultaneous recording of 2 background singers, instruments etc.
Extended Frequency Response
The 40Hz to 18kHz frequency response, is suitable for recording vocals, wind, and string instruments.
