Crowther Audio Hot Cake Overdrive with XLF & Cream
The infamous Crowther Hotcake overdrive, now with extra low frequency & cream! Transparent overdrive to fully saturated distortion in a simple pedal with controls for Level, Presence and Drive. The XLF switch provides extended low frequency for use with bass and other instruments which require good low end representation. Engaging the +CREAM switch has a somewhat smoother overdrive sound, with less edge with the onset of distortion. even more so than the previous internally activated Bluesberry setting with slightly less headroom, which means slightly more sustain but lower output level, so a small increase of the level control setting may be required in this mode.
