Overview

The Electro-Voice ZX5-90 is a 15 in two-way passive loudspeaker for mains, fills or monitors. A DVX3150 woofer with forced-air voice coil cooling handles the low end. An ND2 neodymium compression driver with a 2 in voice coil and titanium diaphragm covers the high end through a 90° x 50° horn. The enclosure is injection-molded high-impact polypropylene structural foam with an integrated handle, and its wedge shape lets it work as a stage monitor at 45° or 55° with no extra accessories.
