The BQ500 is a 500-watt Class-D bass head that weighs only 2.3 kg. Its high-voltage MOSFET preamp gives it the warm sound and dynamic feel of a tube amp. A 4-band EQ lets you shape your tone. A passive/active switch matches the input to your bass's pickups, and the one-knob Thrust compressor adds punch while evening out your dynamics. The balanced DI output connects directly to a mixing desk or recording setup. For practice, there is a headphone output with speaker emulation and an aux input for playing along with tracks. The rugged steel chassis is built for the road.
