Fender California Player Kingman Bass Acoustic-Electric. Used, Very Good Condition

This bass is in very good condition, with only very slight signs of wear.

Part of Fender’s California Player series, the Kingman Bass has the look of Fender’s electric basses. It produces a warm acoustic tone with plenty of punch. It has a solid spruce top with X-bracing and sapele back and sides. The mid-sized body is comfortable to play, and the cutaway gives easy access to the upper frets. The bound nato neck has a slim Jazz Bass C-profile, a short 30" scale and a 1.5" nut width, so it’s easy on the fretting hand. The headstock has four tuners in a row, as on Fender’s electric basses. Vintage-style open-gear tuners keep tuning accurate, and the Graph Tech NuBone nut and saddle give it a rich, earthy tone. The built-in Fishman preamp brings out the bass’s natural acoustic sound on stage or in the studio.
