The Blackstar Debut 100R 112 is a 100-watt, two-channel guitar combo with a 12-inch speaker, built for home practice, recording and playing live. A switch on the front panel drops the output from 100 watts to 5 watts for quiet playing, and the speaker-emulated line out mutes the power amp so you can record or practice through headphones in silence. Blackstar's patented ISF control works with the three-band EQ to move the tone between an American and a British character.

Two Channels and Reverb

The Clean channel has its own volume and a Bright switch for extra top end. Low volume settings stay clean, and turning it up brings in break-up and a light crunch. The Overdrive channel has separate Gain and Volume controls and runs from crunch to a saturated lead sound. The digital reverb switches between a bright plate and a darker hall with a longer decay, with one level control. A 2-button latching footswitch, sold separately, changes channels and turns the reverb on and off.

Practice and Recording

Plug a phone or music player into the Line In to play along with songs. The track plays in mono through the speaker and in stereo through the line out and headphones. A series effects loop with Send and Return jacks on the rear panel takes external effects units.
