Bare Bones is a streamlined boutique tribute to the legendary Big Muff Pi circuit. This pedal was designed with a simple philosophy: traditional Big Muffs sound their absolute best when the sustain/gain is pinned to the max. So, we cut the fat. By removing the sustain knob entirely and hardwiring the internal gain stage to its sweet-spot maximum, you get pure, unadulterated walls of singing distortion the second you click it on.Despite being a high-gain monster, the Bare Bones is surprisingly dynamic. It delivers smooth, super-long sustain for lead work, but cleans up beautifully right from your guitar’s volume knob when you need to back things off.
