This pedal sounds literally like a tube amp (Benson Chimera). It’s not the ordinary "amp in a box" style pedal that i tried in the past. You can easily control dynamics with the volume control as well as with your pick intensity. The gain can be all the way up and if you pick lightly, you can still get it sounding relatively clean. The EQ is not too intrusive. I mean it’s easy to sculpt your tone without losing the sweet spot because the EQ doesn’t dramatically change the sound. There are 3 rare legit Fairchild J201 JFET biased correctly in this pedal. It stack very well with other overdrive, distorsion or boost pedals.
