Auralex Acoustics was founded by company president Eric Smith in 1977 with the aim of producing higher quality aural insulation products at a more affordable price point than available at the time. In the ensuing four decades, the company has grown to include an artist roster with the like of Daryl Hall, Joe Bonamassa, and Kenny Aronoff.
