Here is a very cool old non-chambered Gibson Les Paul Ebony Standard from the good wood years. It is a Yamano export (hand selected for export to Japan) and was built in Gibson’s Nashville plant and finished in 2005, which is before Gibson introduced chambering on their standards so yes, it’s non-chambered! The body binding and plastics have naturally aged to cream over the decades (which always looks superb against Ebony).. The metal hardware has naturally oxidised to a dull grey. Never had a refret so still has its fret edge binding (nibs). It has a good solid ’59 profile neck, which is very comfortable to play. There is obviously plenty of wear commensurate with what you'd expect from a great playing mid 2000's standard, and it looks all the better for it. Most of the little specs you see are just dust. There are some little nicks in the nitrocellulose lacquer, and some rubbing on the back but overall in very nice condition. It weighs in at a very light 3.96kg for a non-chambered Les Paul. The truss rod is working fine, plenty of life in the frets and the neck is dead straight. It comes with its original pink lined tan Gibson hard case which is in great working condition. Also complete with original Yamano certificate with the guitar's individual serial number printed on. A wonderful old Gibson Les Paul Standard from the great Gibson years.
