The single D.A.S. Event-26A is a powered, full-range, two-way line array module designed for professional live sound reinforcement applications. The speaker features two built-in Class-D amplifiers, providing 800W of power to the two 6.5" woofers and the 1.75" compression driver that combine to offer a frequency response of 76 Hz to 19 kHz and a peak SPL output of 131 dB. An onboard DSP featuring a 24-bit high-end processor handles X-over, delay, EQ, and limiter functions, while powerful FIR filtering technology offers constant phase response, which translates to transparent sound and remarkable clarity.
The rear panel of the speaker offers a line-level XLR input and an XLR loop-thru output for connecting additional array modules. The integrated "Easy DSP" utilizes push-button combinations for adjusting the number of array modules. Additionally, there is a down-fill preset button for simplifying long and short throw for down-fill applications. Two onboard limiters protect the electronics and drivers from overload.
The lightweight polypropylene enclosure is rugged and able to withstand the rigors of on-the-road wear and tear. A single array module can be placed on a quality speaker stand, while multiples can be used in a ground-stack configuration. Up to 6 line array modules can be flown per side for larger-scaled sound reinforcement deployment. The D.A.S. Event-26A ships with a power cord.
