Easily switch between instruments and sources with a single stomp with the Morley ABC, a robust and versatile pedal for switching and splitting signals. With the ability to route one input to three outputs or vice versa, you can support a wide range of routing setups that can be especially useful in live applications.
Three footswitches let you select between the A, B, and C signal. Four 1/4" input/output jacks are available, allowing you to route signals however you want, including splitting a single input (such as splitting a guitar signal between a computer and two amps). Power is provided by either a 9V battery or a 9V power supply. The unit features LEDs for indicating which channel is active, but when the LEDs are not needed or wanted, the unit can operate passively, without the need for power input. True bypass ensures your signal is free from high-frequency tone suck when bypassed. Constructed from durable cold-rolled steel, this pedal is built to last and is perfect for live applications that call for ruggedness.
A Vital Utility Pedal
The Morley ABY was introduced in the early 1980s, but when a young engineer named Scott Flesher joined Morley a decade later, little did they know his redesign would go on to become one of the most popular utility pedals of all time. The new Gold Series ABC version comes with upgraded, quieter circuitry, a fresh new look, and an extra third channel for routing. It's simple, robust and versatile.
Application Examples
You can route one input to three outputs or reverse it and route three inputs to one output. This makes switching between guitars or instruments a breeze as well as using multiple amplifiers. It’s also completely passive, so it doesn’t need a power source to function. Only the LED’s require power, which is great for conserving battery life.
In a second example you can use the ABC to select multiple outputs. Use as many as three amps at the same time or select between them. This is great for live sound, since you have an additional output to send to the board.
