66 model LG1. In great condition.
Has had a neck reset a few years ago. Pickguard and bridge ( braz ) are replacements. Strings are new 11 - 52 ‘s. Diaddario. These LG1 ‘s were a student , beginner model and were the cheapest acoustic in the Gibson range in 66, at $35. Ladder braced. Has obviously been looked after for a 59 year old guitar. It plays well and sounds great. Back and sides are mahogany, top is spruce. Fretboard and bridge are Brazilian rosewood.
Nut and saddle are bone. Tuners are original and a bit stiff but work ok.
Replacement Klusons are around $100.
I’ll send in the nearly new case in the photos via a courier to anywhere in Australia.
