TransAcoustic Guitar

Yamaha's unique technology that uses digital technology while producing sound in an acoustic way. Equipped with "TransAcousticTM". The vibration of the strings is converted into an electrical signal, processed as an effect, and transmitted to an actuator (vibrator) installed inside the body, which then vibrates the entire guitar. This allows you to produce effect sounds by vibrating the guitar body without connecting an amplifier or speaker.

The effect sound is produced by the vibration of the entire guitar, which causes air vibrations from the body, similar to the sound production method of an acoustic guitar, so the raw sound of the guitar and the effect sound become one, creating a sound space that envelops the player like never before. Two types of effects are installed: "chorus" which produces layered sounds, and "reverb" which adds reverberation.
