Up for grabs is: for parts / for repair used Dunlop ROTOVIBE JH4S (2nd ver) casing and some internal parts, from 1994. The red finish is smooth (which is how the JH4S model Rotovibe was designed). It is NOT textured / hammered on - which is how the JD4S model / version ROTOVIBE was / is designed.

What's in the pictures is what's for sale. If it's not in the pictures - then it is NOT included.

Cosmetically the casing is in GOOD shape (with a little more than average). Whatever internal component that are included are cosmetically fine. SEE pictures.

Not sure if one or both of the controls / pots are clean sounding or if one of both are scratchy.

How To Date Vintage Pedal Potentiometers Codes / Numbers

Codes (Numbers) 
There are one or more sets of numbers on the backside of the pot (potentiometer). If the pot has two sets of numbers; the first set is the value (output), for example: 100k, etc. And the second set of numbers are the manufacturers code and the date of manufacture, for example: 1378111.

Dating A Pot:

•  If there are seven digits, 1378042 on the pot. The first three digits, 137 are CTS’s, the pot manufacturers code. The next four digits, 8042 is the pots production date. So 137 means it was made by CTS, and 8042 means it was made in 1980 in the 42nd week. (8042 is the code when the pot was made NOT of the effect unit.) .

I am including two new battery clips and a piece of electrical heat shring tubing. You only need one battery clip for this pedal - but I will include the second one as a back up.

What is seen in the pictures is what's for sale.

The cut black and red wires are where you connect the battery clip. In case you are wondering - when this is a fully functioning pedal - the battery will fit / go in the front of the pedal -- in the space between the small circuit board and the Intensity control. I doubt it - but - t might be necessary for you to add more more to length the battery clip wires.

This item as a whole is NON functioning because it is MISSING many important parts- like the main circuit board. Also: NO bottom plate, NO feet, NO bottom screws. NO jacks, NO nuts / NO washers / NO on / of switch, NO side button, NO knob, NO knob cover, NO original battery clip -- and MISSING one front bumper).

I do NOT have the missing parts.
NO box, NO paperwork.

The wires connections should be fine -- but since I can't test this "pedal" - out I do not know for sure.

The SMALL circuit board is fine for when you go to attach the replacement on / off switch.

The black hard plastic piece for on the stem of the treadle pot / control can be taken off or moved to the left if you need extra space to tighten the nut for this pot.

I will leave the nut for the treadle pot / control a little loose - since you will be taking it off when you add the missing parts to this item.

The CASING lower half -- red areas: The red color is a regular color - the color is like how it appears in picture # 3 and in some of the other pictures. NOTE: the red color looks darker / duller (Example pictures # 14 and # 15) because of the lighting - I used no flash to show the imperfections "better" and to avoid the reflections / glares., etc. Sorry for all of this about the red color - - it's just that in the pictures it appears the ways I just mentioned. And some people might want to know what color it really is.

• Each side of the red part of the casing has visible chips, nicks, and scratches in / on the finish (the amount of each of these types of imperfections varies from side to side).

The CHROME areas of the foot treadle part: In some pictures - the CHROME appear shiny as it is in person (like in pictures # 3). And some pictures show it darker / duller -- because of the lighting & because I didn't use the camera' s flash in order to show the imperfections "better" and to avoid the reflections / glares, etc (as seen in pictures # # 14 and 15).

• The CHROME Finish has many very tiny & tiny dot very light dings (most are not visible in the pictures - but you can seen them in person - esp when you look closely at the pedal). Also there are some light & very light hairline surface scratches, some very short kind of deeper scratches, some very small & small nicks, some tiny rust spots, and some surface cloudiness.

The FRONT PLATE still has the thin clear plastic protective covering (which you have the option to peel off). The clean plastic has some tiny & very small air bubbles, a couple of tiny *& very small nicks, and a couple of scratches. The Front Plate itself has a small pen point sized impression and a few tiny nick - not sure how deep these nicks are. Some of these nicks might be on a few edge areas - it's hard to tell because of the clear plastic.

The RUBBER PART on the Top Side is mostly very clean with minor surface dust in between the grooves. imperfections..

The Inside of the Pedal (circuit board, inside components, casing).

• The inner main areas of the casing are mostly very clean - just just a few visible chip in the finish and a few minor imperfections. The edges have some visible chips and nicks. .
• The inside components are clean.

I took pictures of all sides of the casing and there are some pictures of the parts that are included.

NOTE: There may be a some imperfections that I overlooked. There are a some imperfections that can be seen in person that do not appear in the pictures. And - there are some imperfections show up in the pictures that are not that visible in person - like glares / reflections / dust specks.
