QUINT mandolins are popular for their excellent value and outstanding playability. This is a pre-owned QT-F5 with beautifully figured wood and an artistic appearance.

Quint mandolins are built by Chinese master luthier Qin Ji Duo. After developing his craft under several builders and contributing to the launch of Northfield Mandolins, Mr. Qin established his own brand. His instruments combine traditional American mandolin style with modern playability and high construction precision. From the hand-carved arched top to the carefully selected Spruce and Flame Maple, every detail reflects a strong commitment to materials and craftsmanship. The texture of the finish in particular rivals that of high-end mandolins.

The beautifully figured Maple and premium neck wood, combined with an antique-style sunburst finish, give this instrument the presence of a work of art.

Its refined, smooth sound differs from the rugged character of vintage instruments, offering delicate resonance and a rich range of expression.

There is a surface crack on the button of the fourth-string tuner, although it does not currently affect use. The instrument has a few small marks overall, but no significant damage. The neck is in good condition, the upper positions are easy to play, and it remains comfortable even during long playing sessions.
