Fender American Special Stratocaster finished in Mocha with a maple neck and maple fingerboard. The deep transparent brown finish, black pickguard and black pickup covers give this one a distinctive look that stands apart from the more common sunburst and solid-color American Specials.

Built in Corona, California, the American Special series was designed as a straightforward USA-made Strat with familiar vintage Fender styling paired with a slightly more modern playing feel. This example features the oversized ’70s-style Stratocaster headstock, maple fingerboard, 22 jumbo frets, three single-coil pickups, standard 5-way switching and a vintage-style synchronized tremolo.

The guitar has just been cleaned, restrung and set up and is playing well with a comfortable action. Overall condition is Excellent. The Mocha finish is extremely clean with only very minor signs of handling and use, and the maple fingerboard and neck are also in excellent shape.

Fret wear is almost nonexistent. The jumbo frets remain tall and clean with plenty of life remaining.
